VA Home Loans
It’s our privilege to provide Veteran Assistance loans to support home ownership for Veterans or active-duty military members.
What is a VA Loan?
VA loans are exclusively available to those who have served our country in the U.S. Armed Forces and they can be used to purchase a new home or refinance a current house. Eligible borrowers who are interested in a home loan with no down payment requirement and competitive mortgage rates often use a VA loan to finance their home. VA home loans are insured by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and are provided by a private lender (like a mortgage company, credit union, or bank).
What are the Benefits of a VA Loan?
With no down payment requirement and no monthly mortgage insurance requirement, VA loans are a great option for many eligible home buyers. Depending on the situation, the VA Funding Fee could be financed into the loan as well.
Qualifying for a VA Loan
Eligibility for VA loans is determined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. In order to qualify for a VA home loan, a borrower must be current active military (90 days minimum service), an honorably-discharged Veteran, a Reservist member (six years with an honorable discharge or 60-180 days of active duty), an eligible surviving spouse, or granted Veteran status through civilian employment.
